Exercise library.
Checkfit's library covers more than 250 exercises across every major muscle group, with equipment variants for the bar, dumbbells, machines, cables, and bodyweight. Every movement is built into the programming engine — so when the app picks a chest exercise for your Tuesday session, it picks the one that fits your equipment, your phase, and the work you've already done that week.
The library is organized by movement pattern, not by body part. The body doesn't care which muscle a magazine assigned the exercise to. It cares whether the movement loaded the muscle and whether the load was hard enough.
Sample categories
- Push (Horizontal). Bench press variations, push-ups, machine presses.
- Push (Vertical). Overhead press, dumbbell shoulder press, landmine press.
- Pull (Horizontal). Rows in all their forms — barbell, dumbbell, cable, T-bar, machine.
- Pull (Vertical). Pull-ups, chin-ups, lat pulldowns, straight-arm pulldowns.
- Squat. Back squat, front squat, goblet, hack, leg press, Bulgarian split squat.
- Hinge. Deadlift variations, Romanian deadlift, hip thrust, good morning.
