How to do it

  1. Bar at thighs. Soft knees.
  2. Hinge at the hips, push hips back. Bar slides down legs.
  3. Stand up by driving hips forward.

Form cues

  • Soft knees, flat back
  • Push the hips back, bar drags down the thighs
  • Drive hips forward to stand, glutes squeeze hard
