How to do it

  1. Hinge forward. Upper arm parallel to your torso.
  2. Extend at the elbow to straighten the arm.
  3. Return under control.

Form cues

  • Hinge forward, flat back, elbow at your side
  • Extend the dumbbell back to lockout
  • Squeeze the triceps hard at the top
