Raise dumbbells out to your sides. Hits the side of your shoulders.
How to do it
- Stand tall. Dumbbells at your sides.
- Raise to shoulder height in a wide arc.
- Lower under control.
Form cues
- Lead with the elbows, not the hands
- Stop at shoulder height — no higher
- Lower slowly, fight the dumbbell down
