How to do it

  1. Dumbbells at your sides. Box knee-height or higher.
  2. Step up. Drive through the heel.
  3. Step down under control.

Form cues

  • Full foot on the box
  • Drive through the heel — don't push off the back foot
  • Stand all the way up
